Well well it was August 22, 2018 when i landed on this ground of Prince George unaware about its surroundings. I am quite sure most of us think when we are going to canada that we will be surrounded by SKYSCRAPERS but on the contrary what i saw was the heart breaking reality for me trees everywhere and off course unbearable cold temperature. I still remember asking my brother how is the weather going to be up here in Prince George and to my surprise he said its summer season so just bring clothes accordingly and there i pack my summer dresses and shorts. Reality breaks its strings when i land on the Prince George Airport which was hardly anything and then to my surprise instead of beautiful skyline there were trees everywhere. I kept counting on the trees sitting at the back seat of a car from airport to our house that i will for sure see something exciting but nothing more than a PG Man ( pun intended). Sooner than in 15 minutes i was at home and my brother excitedly told me we are HOME!!! and i could barely show him the excitement and like a usual me just said where are the buildings and is this what you guys call CANADA!!!!!!!!

Out in PG one thing you should have is your friends and trust me they make your world better. We do party together, eat like crazy people and yes off course do all the crazy thingssss.

If you are looking for a place to shop around PG there are places like Pine Centre Mall, Hudson Bay(one stop shop for brands such as Michael Kors, Mac, Addidas, Puma, ONLY etc), Winners(get all your brands at one place and cheap too) and Old Navy. if you are a student and looking at affordable shopping place then OLD Navy is the place you should explore...cheap and affordable.
Snowman
Just like everyone else i was less excited about the snow outside and but had all teh excitement about the snowman and there it goes the solution to everything YOUTUBE..LOL . One search and saw how to do it and see the most amazing snowman although had some edges around but yes will be better this year. It's more like a tradition where all the kids play in snow and throw snowballs at each other HURRAAAYYYYYYY what a fun filled event it is.
SNOW Shovelling
Offcourse if you are in PG this is something you need to do more often probably everyday, every hour.. lol Shovelling. Snow needs to be removed if you want to commute out from your house. But must say that it was an exciting activity.....
Outing West Lake
Another place to visit once you are in Prince George is this beautiful lake which is surrounded by water and trust me water has this green hue almost like an emerald. It just gives you this feeling of being in a serene place. It makes you feel happy and i was in awe with the place. For good 10 mins i was staring at water and thinking about its beauty and the inner peace which i was getting cant explain in words. it was family outing so we enjoyed in water and had an amazing funnnn
STRIKE ZONE
Perfect place to hangout with friends or family. Anytime you feel that you are missing the rush in your body and want to crack someone's head there you go. Imagine the bottles as someone's head and crushhhhh it...hahahhaha. ohhh an important fact that you need to know wear white and it glows in the dark and take cash with you because that's what works best over there. While you are smashing heads having a sip of Smirnoff Lime with it although makes it more interesting... :P I think i have been to this place 5 or 6 times and it still feels different everytime i go. Sharing some pictures where i enjoyed with my family and friends too.
ViEw PoINTS
There are various view points in Prince George and haven't explored all of them but yes have been to few like LC Gunn Park which shows the whole city, McMillan Creek Regional Park, Connaught Hill Park and offcourse UNBC point in the night looks absolutely stunning.
CANDYYYY LANE
Once you are in PG dont forget to visit Candy Lane..its full of lights and gives you an essence of CHRISTMAS and New Year. Have added a glimpse for you.. :)
